Single Layer Sintered Mesh

Copper Knitted Mesh | High Conductivity EMI Shielding & Filtration

Copper Knitted Mesh is a highly flexible and electrically conductive knitted wire structure manufactured from high-purity copper wire. Through a specialized circular knitting process, the wire is formed into a series of interconnected loops, creating a resilient, spring-like mesh with excellent formability, elasticity, and multi-directional stretch.

Compared with stainless steel knitted mesh, copper knitted mesh provides superior electrical and thermal conductivity, making it widely used for EMI/RFI shielding, grounding, static discharge control, cable wrapping, and gasket manufacturing. It is also commonly used as filter media, mist elimination material, sealing components, and support mesh in chemical and mechanical systems.

The mesh can be produced in plain, flattened, ginned, or compressed structures and shaped into rings, pads, rolls, cylinders, or custom components to meet diverse engineering applications.

Advantages of Copper Knitted Mesh

  • Outstanding Electrical Conductivity
Copper is one of the most conductive industrial materials, making copper knitted mesh highly effective for EMI/RFI shielding, grounding, static discharge, and electrical contact applications.
  • High Thermal Conductivity
The excellent heat-transfer properties allow copper knitted mesh to be used in high-temperature environments, heat dissipation, catalytic processes, and thermal management systems.
  • Excellent Flexibility & Elasticity
The knitted loop structure offers compressibility, resilience, and multidirectional flexibility, allowing the mesh to be compressed into seals, gaskets, rings, and shaped components without losing structural integrity.
  • Effective EMI/RFI Shielding Performance
The conductive mesh provides multiple contact points and uniform electromagnetic attenuation, widely used in cable shielding, military electronics, enclosures, communication devices, and EMI gaskets.
  • Anti-Slip & Energy Absorption
The mesh’s friction and cushioning characteristics make it suitable for vibration isolation, damping, and reinforcement in mechanical assemblies.
  • Easy Forming & Custom Processing
Copper knitted mesh is easy to layer, compress, braid, or mold into customized shapes for OEM applications.
  • Corrosion Resistance (in Many Environments)
Copper naturally resists corrosion in neutral and dry atmospheres. It is suitable for many industrial environments requiring moderate chemical resistance.
