Types of Wedge Wire Rotary Drum Screens
Internally Fed Drum Screens
Best for high-flow wastewater with low to medium solids. The liquid enters the inside of the drum and passes through the screen, while solids are conveyed forward to the discharge.
Externally Fed Drum Screens
Ideal for applications with high solids or oily/greasy waste. The influent is fed onto the outside of the drum; solids stay on the surface and are scraped off, while the liquid passes through.
